The bearded man observed as the young soul evaded the searing sting of his spear. Quite fast, surprisingly she was more of an adversary than he would have expected, and as for the human… he was still dumbfounded to see his monster rocket past to the next building, no doubt his strength was otherworldly. Musings were inappropriate at this moment however, his eyes narrowed as he stared at the accumulating crimson light, intrigued by the stark white mask that the woman summoned. Definitely this was the type of being who had been on the verge of becoming a hollow, but instead subdued the transformation and obtained it’s powers. He had learned of these at some time, but could never quite remembered the name by which they were known. The stout man brought his lance before him, gripping it with massive strength to block the discharge, but the ray’s potency was underestimated, feeling his guard about to break, Ignis swung his weapon away from him to alter the attacks course, sending the beam faltering into empty space. In a split second the man appeared behind the masked young woman, slightly singed and with tears in his attire were the cero made contact.
“…Vizored… Interesting pests aren’t you?…. You interrupted a very important experiment. It takes work to transform those godforsaken beasts into something useful…”
Half way through his displeased words, the man brought the heat consumed lance thrusting in a straight and violent line towards the impudent hindrance’s face, bent in piercing through her mask and clean through her cranium.
At ground level, the vicious monster felt its talons miss the target, consequently scratching grooves across the floor where they landed. It turned its face to the muscular youth, mouth gaping open showing its dark fangs and expelling steaming breath. These savage specters were if anything, incredibly resistant, but the point blank hammering attack that released a canon of energy directly at its skull, was an inevitable decisive blow. The monsters face smashed a crater into the pavement, as the force pounding on it drove it down. Nervous twitches, and final stubborn reactions caused it to convulse in attempt to get up, but quickly fell limp, thin pillars of smoke rose from its body, before it began to consume itself as if burning from within, turning into ash. Not yielding a moment for reaction; like a feral cat, the remaining creature, dove from the narrow spot where it had landed, intent on latching on to the towering teenagers back. It shot down through the air heat emanating from its demonic claws, a devilish shriek reverberating from it’s core.
